In science this week, Year 4 were learning about the different teeth that we have, as well as why they are shaped differently to chew food. We had a great time using mirrors to identify the different teeth in our mouths. #Yr4toothygrins
This afternoon, Year 6 took part in a team-building workshop run by Tracey from Sutton Schools Sports Partnership. They had a lovely time and enjoyed working together in their teams!
Today, in Nurture we explored the features of a non-chronological report about the red-eyed tree frog. Afterwards, we enjoyed an art and craft session where we created our own red-eyed tree frogs, the results were fantastic!
Today in nurture we had a brain dump session and it was brilliant! We let our thoughts flow freely onto paper, turning feelings into colours, squiggles, patterns, rainbows, words, and drawings. It was amazing to see the creative ways everyone expressed what was on their mind. Sometimes, taking a moment to empty your head and explore your emotions visually can be just what you need to feel a little lighter.
