This week in Science, Year 5 went in search of gold . They used a sieving method to separate out the "nuggets" from the soil mixture using a colander before passing the soil through a fine sieve to separate the "gold flakes" . #science #daretodream
In Nurture English, we focused on persuasive writing. The children analysed different sentence structures and worked out whether they included techniques such as the power of three, emotive language, or modal verbs. It was a great opportunity to develop their understanding of how persuasive language can be structured effectively.
Year One enjoyed being weather reporters today in our Geography lesson. We learnt about different weather symbols and worked in pairs to give a weather report for different parts of the UK!
Year Three have created some wonderful posters this week learning about the importance of equality!
