I am a passionate believer and supporter of children and young people, and got involved in Governing as my way of helping out and supporting the young people in our community. I derive great pride and pleasure in seeing young people develop fulfilling, happy lives. Being a governor gives me an opportunity to play my role in making this happen.

Outside of governing and being a mum, I work in IT, helping large organisations plan and build their IT strategies. Any free time I have is filled with long walks in the great English countryside.

I became a governor at Bandon Hill and Wood Field Primary Schools in 2018 (before the schools were formally separated) because I am keen to meaningfully contribute to my children’s community. I am a non-practising solicitor, working in the legal business of a global technology company where I primarily focus on asset management and sustainable finance issues. Away from the governing board and work, you are most likely to find me on the netball court!

As a passionate advocate for equity and inclusion, I was drawn to the role of school governor for Bandon Hill and Wood Field Primary School to actively contribute to shaping a more diverse and inclusive educational environment. With a firm belief in the transformative power of education, I am committed to ensuring that every student has access to equitable opportunities and feels valued and supported regardless of their background. Serving as a school governor allows me to leverage my DEIB experience to advocate for policies and initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, ultimately working towards a brighter future for all students.

I am an IT manager with 13 years of experience in multiple countries. I live with a 3 year old and wife in Croydon. My little one will start her reception next year and I being a person believe in mentorship and volunteer activities etc.. became a Governor at Bandon Hill and Wood Field Primary School to support the school and understand how I can contribute and share my expertise in shaping a better tomorrow for the students. Besides my work, I am a University student mentor at 3 Universities in the UK (ARU, UoB, City London)
